I Prefer Dangerous Freedom Over Peaceful Slavery T-Shirt
This T-Shirt refers to the quote: “I PREFER DANGEROUS FREEDOM OVER PEACEFUL SLAVERY” which is a translation of a Latin phrase, “Malo periculosam libertatem quam quietam servitutem”, famously used by Thomas Jefferson. It expresses a preference for the risks and potential chaos of freedom over the perceived safety and control of a life of servitude. Jefferson used this phrase in a letter to James Madison, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a vigilant citizenry and preventing governmental overreach.
